Updating

To keep up with current malware, Spybot needs to be updated with new definitions regularly.

Spybot Free Edition definitions are updated on a weekly basis, and can be manually updated using the Update symbol in Start Center.

The Home Edition and above of Spybot +AV include dedicated antivirus detection with multiple definition updates a day. These will be downloaded  automatically via a scheduled tasks that you’ll never miss an update.
