Anti-Beacon treats this as telemetry-related because SIUF is tied to Windows feedback prompts and feedback submission can include diagnostics. Microsoft says that when a problem is submitted in Feedback Hub, “diagnostic data is sent” to help improve Microsoft products and services (Microsoft Privacy Statement). Microsoft separately describes tailored Windows experiences as using diagnostic data for tips, ads, and recommendations, with data stored using unique identifiers (Microsoft Privacy Statement).
Anti-Beacon suppresses Windows SIUF feedback prompts, such as the “How are you enjoying Windows?” notifications, to reduce feedback flows that can send diagnostics to Microsoft.
