ZDNet.de (part of CNet Europe network) has recently released a detailed test report (article in German) about Spybot-S&D and came to the conclusion that in their tests, Spybot-S&D passed as the best in detecting and removing spyware. This again confirms their more detailed review of anti spyware applications from earlier this year.

The second piece of news is a bit older. In early 2004, we a posted warning about a fake product named SpyKiller, which advertised under our name and thus tried to trick people into buying their software. More than a year ago, this product has finally been shut down by the FTC for fraudulent advertisement.
