Constantly people complain about popup ads bearing the title Messenger Service that are not detected by Spybot-S&D. And currently, someone even tries to shed a bad light on Spybot-S&D by making such Messenger popup ads for us.

Here's our short description on how to disable the Messenger Service to stop all popups of that kind.
We would recommend this to you anyway until you actively would use it (which you then would know).

And should you see one of those forged Spybot-S&D advertisements, please make a screenshot and mail that to us. Or if you don't know how to make a screenshot, please send us the text in the first line of the popup (with the time and IP number shown there, we hope to be able to trace back the origin).
